Anchor President Steve Eickman has earned the Ruth Edevold Award for Excellence in Leadership.

This award is presented annually by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation and recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to an organization, workplace or community, and have had an active role in joint ventures or collaborative efforts. As a result of this award, Eickman will be allowed to choose a nonprofit organization to receive a $1,000 unrestricted grant.
Eickman was selected for this honor because of the vision he has shown in working with the Northwest Minnesota Foundation and other regional organizations in promoting quality of place. He has also shown great support of the foundation’s training programs.
“Steve has taken the principles he learned from the StrengthQuest and LeaderImpact programs and successfully applied them in his business practices and for staff development,” says Northwest Minnesota Foundation President Nancy Vyskocil. “The foundation is delighted to recognize his accomplishments.”
